Why is the push yahoo email does not work on the iPhone? ?
The iPhone tech. is telling me to activate the “fetch.” I thought the email should be pushed to my phone as soon as it hits the Yahoo server. The “fetch” feature uses too much battery power.
Push requires a server to be set up to push this type of data. Yahoo freemail servers are not configured in this way.
Tell it to fetch every 15 or 30 minutes.
If you can’t go that long in between emails, put down the coffee, and buy a Crackberry.
